Hello, my name is Haldrie. Ok so it's not my real name but rather the alias that I have been using on the internet to identify myself to others. Those of you familiar with Final Fantasy XI Online might recognize the image above as an extract from a screen shot I took of my character, Haldrie, while riding a Chocobo. This game is where I first came up with the name Haldrie by trying to make up a name that sounded like it belonged in the world of Vana'diel (the world of Final Fantasy XI). At first I was sifting through the automatically generated names you can choose from and finally decided to make up my own. A name beginning with H was the first thing I thought of and it went from there. I finally was satisfied with Haldrie and have been using this name as my screen name on many different forums across the internet as well made a new email address with it. A simple Google search will show a large number of pages that include my name in it as well as a few that have nothing to do with me at all.
At the moment this site is still undergoing some major construction in both design and content so there isn't much to provide. There is content that is not being linked to that is currently private or being used as hosting for my forum files that I provide links for instead of using an upload service. I do have some links to some of my short stories that I have worked on. You can view them from the links above.

I am now celebrating my new domain. As you can see I am no longer bound to the restrictions of a free, ad supported domain and can now branch out with my own dot com domain. Plans for expansion are now in effect but coming up with good designs is getting difficult although content is already being prepared.

I am now learning PHP coding and have already begun to incorporate it into my site. The menu above is now made so I only have to edit one file when I want to add a link instead of having to edit and reupload every page that contains the menu. Also thanks to the help of a fellow web master I have fixed the menu to link the way I wanted it to in the first place.

PHP can now be seen in the address bar when you select one of the links other then this home page. A new character has been added to the Final Fantasy XI Online section and further updates are planned to be added soon.
